The Process

For the first step of our project, we put discs of raw, store-bought cookie dough onto greased pans. The cookie dough was thawed before-hand. We made sure to do the experiment during the hottest hour of the day, 1pm, when it was 87 degrees Fahrenheit outside.

Then, we took a time-lapse video of the cookies baking in the car while periodically taking photos of the cookies. We made sure to include a temperature gauge next to the cookies to show how intensely the temperature increases while inside a vehicle.
